Those two were the worst teams of the first round. However, they signed a few players each during the last month and they have improved. Still, i find Omonoia to be too strong for Achilleas since they are in a good mood and they have much more players now who can score and this is reflected by the 77 points scored in Limassol against Apollon and 83 points against ENAD. The handicap is not so big so i choose HW

I like this big a lot because it is of real value. First of all these two are the best squads in the league. Therefore it is always a derby match. Second, they played last week for the cup and AEL won without many problems. Of course playing in Keravnos home make the game different but still the fair odds should be 1.70-1.90 at most. So 2.64 for the best club of Cyprus basketball is too much and i just can't ignore it.
There are no real problems for any of the two (apart from Keravnos two absences but they are not so important). If AEL manages to stop Randojevic in the post i see them winning this.

APOEL is on a downtrend lately and it's not just the two defeats from Keravnos. Previously they won ETHA very tough and they were eliminated from Eurocup. On the other hand, i've said repeatedly how the situation is in ENAD. The coach wants to leave, the American players were substituted and the best Cypriot player was transfered to Keravnos.
The scenario is pretty clear. ENAD will try to keep the score low around 60-65 points in order to have a chance. I think they can do it since APOEL's big weapon are in a downtrend and in my eyes under 155.5 makes much more sense than anything else tonight

Both teams are of the so called pleasant surprises. However, Aston Villa is much more complete as a team because they can do equally good home and away. On the other hand the Citizens are exceptionally good at home but they haven't won yet away from home.
City will have the important absences of Michael Johnson and Stephen Ireland in midfield so Ericsson will have to come up with something good. I see Villa winning this one in one way or another and stopping their string of two home defeats.

Apollon is the better squad is the local derby no matter from what aspect we will see this. AEL has two draws against good teams but today they have three important missings. GK Giannou, right defender Ocokolic and defensive midfielder Kerkez are all important and somehow difficult to replace. Apollon on the other hand will miss important forward Sangoy (13/5)
There is value to the AW and i see Apollon winning tonight in one way or another.

Another game which is expected to be close. OFI has a totally different mentality after changing their coach. No more experiments, no weird tactics and no risks. On the other hand, Iraklis's undefeated run was ended last week from PAO in a game they shouldn't have lost.
OFI is quite conservative noawadays and they lack of good attacking option as long as Drulic is out. Iraklis will most likely play for the draw and if possible get their usual 0-1 win.
Few goals for this game

Another crucial 6-pointer where no one expects a goal fest. Levadiakos is in a better position ATM while Ergotelis is just a shadow of their good self from last year.
However, the attacking problem is quite obvious in both teams. Levadiakos will have important forward Montoya out and this might effect their attacking abilities. Mirne Sisic the best player of Levadiakos will also have his mind elsewhere since he will be announced in the next days as the first transfer for Olympiakos in the winter period. On the other hand Ergotelis does not have any attacking solutions so they will probably go to get first the point and then anything that comes up.
Close game which most likely will be determined on one goal

Tough game between two newcomers who have followed a totally different direction on the table.
Asteras is the pleasant surprise until now and a spot in Europe is not out of question. Today they will have to face Veroia without important striker Filomeno who has given them so many points till now.
On the other hand Veroia will have Mantzourakis for the first time, a well-known coach who is specialised in defensive tactics.
This looks like one-goal game to me. Whoever scores it wins.

I'm going with Achilleas for the first time this year and in my eyes this is quite a good bet. ENAD is under-performing lately and there is dissapointment to the team. The coach has expressed his wish to stop coaching the team in order to concentrate to his duties for the N.T, the second American of the team was substituted because of injury and on the top of all these the best Cypriot player of the team Pilavas was transfered this week to Keravnos. On the other hand Achilleas got some reinforcements after signing a couple of players but their quality is still unknown.
Achilleas will try to keep the score low and considering the absence of Pilavas i think they can keep the score for ENAD below 75 points.

The game looks quite equal according to the ML but my opinion is that Apollon has more quality and can get the win tonight in Larnaca. AEK is quite good at home but all their wins were against teams with more or less the same potentials. They couldn't beat any of the so-called "big-4" and this mainly has to do with the shortage in their bench.
I expect a high-scoring game since both teams have some really gifted players who can score in many ways and in the end Apollon getting the victory.
